01 What cookies are
Small files stored by your browser. Some are needed for the site to work; others measure how it is used or come from services embedded in the page.
02 Technical cookies
Always active, no consent needed. They keep your session, your language and the state of the booking form. Deleting them logs you out of an unfinished booking.
03 Advertising cookies
Set only if you accept them. We use the Meta Pixel, which tells Meta that your browser visited this site so that we can show you our experiences again on Facebook and Instagram, and so that we can see how many people who saw an advert went on to book. Refusing them costs you nothing: every part of this site, the booking calendar included, works exactly the same.
04 Third-party cookies
The booking calendar is provided by Bokun (Tripadvisor group) and sets its own cookies when it loads, so that availability and checkout work. Payment pages set cookies for fraud prevention. These services have their own policies.
05 Managing your choices
The banner that appears on your first visit lets you accept or refuse advertising cookies, and nothing of that kind loads before you choose. To change your mind later, use the Cookie settings link at the foot of any page: your choice is stored in your own browser, so clearing your browsing data resets it and the banner returns. Your browser settings will also delete cookies already stored.
