02 What we collect
Booking data: name, email, phone, date, number of guests and any notes you send us. Enquiry data: if you write through the work-with-us or partnership forms, the name, contact details, links and text you choose to send. Payment data is handled by our payment provider, and we never see or store card numbers. Technical data: the pages you visit on this site, in aggregate. Advertising data, only if you accept it: the fact that your browser visited this site, sent to Meta so that we can show you our experiences again on Facebook and Instagram.
03 Why we use it
To confirm and run your booking (performance of a contract), to answer your messages (legitimate interest), to meet tax and accounting obligations (legal obligation), and, only with your consent, to send you occasional emails about new experiences and to advertise this site to you on Facebook and Instagram. Consent is asked for on your first visit and can be withdrawn at any time from the Cookie settings link at the foot of any page.
04 Who else sees it
The people who need it to deliver your experience: the guide, chef or driver assigned to you, our booking system provider, our payment provider, and our accountant. If, and only if, you accept advertising cookies, Meta Platforms Ireland also receives the fact that your browser visited this site, which is what lets us advertise to you again; Meta acts as an independent controller for that data under its own policy, and transfers outside the European Union rely on its standard contractual clauses. We never sell your data, and we share it with nobody else for their own marketing.
05 How long we keep it
Booking records for 10 years, as tax law requires. Enquiries that do not become bookings for 24 months. Consent-based emails until you unsubscribe.
06 Your rights
You can ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your data, object to processing, and withdraw consent at any time by writing to romesomuch@gmail.com. You can also complain to the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali.
