Roman Mosaic Workshop
Make your own Roman mosaic in an artisan's studio
- Length
- 2h30
- Meeting point
- Via Urbana 98, 00184 Rome
What you do
Step into a working mosaic studio in Rome and learn the ancient craft by doing it. The techniques are the ones used here for centuries, the material is natural marble, and the piece you cut and set is yours to take home.
An artisan works alongside you the whole time, so a first attempt still comes out looking like a mosaic rather than a pile of stone.
Suitable for participants aged 12 and above.
Included
- Guided mosaic workshop with a local artisan
- All materials, natural marble tesserae included
- A personalised 7 x 5 inch mosaic to take home
- Coffee or bottled water
Cancellation
Refund if cancelled at least 2 days before the event.
