What you do
Villa Borghese is eighty hectares in the middle of Rome, which is a lot of park to cross on foot in an afternoon and no distance at all on an e-bike.
You ride the avenues and the shaded paths with a guide, taking in the monuments, the quiet corners the crowds miss, the lake with its little temple, and the terrace above Piazza del Popolo where the whole city lays itself out in front of you.
Helmet, poncho and a child seat for smaller passengers come with the bike. Accident insurance is optional, €5 a head on the day. Entry to the Galleria Borghese is not part of this ride.
The tour starts at Lungotevere delle Armi 44, by the river.
